Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa and dedicated hubs. We recommend based on the phones already in the house, not on a brand we happen to stock.
Where the cameras or NVR allow it, yes — live view and alerts sit alongside lights and climate. Incompatible brands stay on their own app; we will say so before we start.
Local automations and physical switches keep working. Remote access pauses until the connection returns. We avoid designs that brick the lights when the WAN is down.
